Hi everyone. I am May filer and got NOA1 May 13th, 2013. Our case updated last august 8, 2013 and got RFE. It took only 86 days from NOA1 to RFE. So, i have a question, are they just going to mail my fiance about our RFE? How long does it take to get approval after RFE Submitted? Thank you.

The petitioner will receive the RFE via snail mail and really there is no rhyme or reason as to how quickly the RFE is processed thereafter. I've seen other folks wait 2-6 weeks to hear USCIS' decision. Make sure the RFE is answered thoroughly in order to obtain your approval. God speed with your visa journey!

We waited 12 days after our status changed to response review.. Then got approved. I think it also depends on what the RFE was about. Easy fixes can be approved in as little as 4 days from what I've read on here but I would prepare myself for 2 weeks waiting if I was you.

Good luck tho!!

Hi there again everyone! thank you for the replies. My fiance just got our RFE notice this morning.August 11,2013 and he just forgot to answer the yes or no question about "three or more convictions for crime relating to a controlled subtance". Easy fixed! Hope we get approval next week.. I am excited!
