Hello fellow August filers!

Our file was sent August 1st, received August 7th, and we are waiting for our NOA1. It will be routed to the Vermont center with the interview to be held in London.

I'm so anxious I can't hardly stand it! Luckily we have VJ to share our journey with.

Looking forward to see other August-ers posting updates. =)

Well Jadey I'm with you and starting to get things in order. That way when the embassy wants papers we are ready to go. We have also stared at the NOA1 too many times!

Hey good luck AUGUST FILERS!!! We sent our packet and it was received on August 5 and my check was cashed on August 8 and now I'm still waiting on my first notification. Has anybody else's checks been cashed without a notification yet?

Hey Kaysil17, I just checked my bank account statement online it will say something like USCIS nect tot the amount cashed.

I received the text & email August 12, however since in the email they state to wait until the hard copy is received, I am still waiting to update my timeline showing I have received the NOA1. At the USCIS website, I am unable to see any updates when I enter my receipt number (which was provided in the email/text), but they do say to wait until the hard copy is received before checking online.

Then again, I'm just starting out like you guys so this might not be standard protocol.

I don't know about you all but when I got the email/text, my fiance and I were over the moon. So exciting knowing we will be together (if nothing goes awry) in another year!

Glad to see more UKers who are filing to the same location and similar dates as us!! Nervous !! Yet so excited.

I'm happy though because once i return to the UK (on holiday here atm) I will have hope because the K1 has finally been filed.

We met in 2005 and met in real life in 2010, only just filed at the start of August/end of July!! :P

Hi hi! August filers here, too. Sent our package last Thursday (aug 8th) and haven't heard anything yet. Did do delivery confirmation and it has been confirmed delivered there... So just waiting now! Check hasn't been cashed, so I'm not concerned. Patience... Oh boy.

Timeline:

June 2011 - We started talking online
April 2012 - He came to visit in the US
August 2012 - I went to visit him in the UK
December 2012 to January 2013 - He came for Xmas and New Years

March 2013 - I went to visit him in the UK
June and July 2013 - He came to visit in the US

June 29, 2013 - He asked me to marry him!!
October 2013 - I visited him in the UK
January 2014 - He's coming to visit for 3 weeks!
