I just wanted to wish good luck to all those who are filing their i-485 tomorrow with the PD becoming current for all F2A applicants. Here is to them adjudicating our files quickly and efficiently. Remember to double check all the forms to be sure that they are signed and that your payment is in the package as well along with your pictures.

Keep everybody posted on the progress of your case. I would like to see how fast they accept the applications and how fast they move to get people to biometrics and get the cards out (EAD, AP and then LPR).

My package is in the post and will arrive tomorrow around 10AM. :)

Hi There!

Our lawyer decided to wait until 90 days have passed from my entry to the US. which is in about 2 weeks before we file for AOS. I hope everyone has a fast and efficient process. Remember to post the office to which you will be filling as times vary greatly.

Thank you. Sent mine today as well (I-485, I-131, I-765, I-864EZ and a couple of other forms related to my specific visa). I-130 PD is June 2013. I'll keep you posted.

Also, has anyone noticed that the Timeline does not have an option for those in our situation (AOS in the US, married to a LPR). I used the closest option (AOS in the US, married to a US Citizen), but it's not completely accurate because it doesn't track our form I-130 approval. Does anyone know who can we contact to correct this?

I mailed out my i-130 and i-485 yesterday to USCIS via UPS. The address I used is :

131 South Dearborn-3rd Floor

But on the UPS label the last four digits are different from the above one. The guy in UPS store told me it's ok.


My package is supposed to be delivered around 10:30 today. Good luck to everyone.

If history is correct, it takes about 3 working days to get an email confirming reception of the package and giving you the receipt number. My bet is that we'll get confirmations next week via email and then MAYBE have the i-797C by the end of next week. Whenever you get anything from USCIS, please update your timeline and let us know (as others have requested). It will be interesting to see how fast the process moves.
