I did the early biometrics on August 22nd. My status on USCIS website still shows as Initial Review. Not even "inline". Is this normal?

Yes you can just walk in at early date. I had biometrics for 9/10 , but walked in today and have them done already.

I was scheduled for Bio 9/10/13 and went today. They almost turned me away and was going to re-schedule. She then saw where I lived and felt pity on me for driving two hours. Since it was slow as well I guess, the manager let me in. Phew!

I was scheduled for Bio 9/10/13 and went today. They almost turned me away and was going to re-schedule. She then saw where I lived and felt pity on me for driving two hours. Since it was slow as well I guess, the manager let me in. Phew!

My wife went in to the Manhattan NYC center on Sept 3 (about a week earlier than her appointment). She arrived at around 2PM and they let her in w/o any questions. Best of all, there was no line at all. Pretty easy, though for N-400 filers, you need to show your greencard.

10-03-09: She returns to Israel
10-13-09: I-130 sent
10-23-09: NOA1
02-16-10: NOA2 / I-130 approved
02-24-10: NVC Receives petition

04-13-10: RFE for original Birth Certificate

I did the early biometrics on August 22nd. My status on USCIS website still shows as Initial Review. Not even "inline". Is this normal?

1. You get placed in line 30 days before your anniversary date if you file in the 90 day window.

2. At some point after you will be scheduled for your interview.

The interview could be scheduled the very next day after being put in line or it could be several weeks after that. But you won't see any further action on your case. At that point you will receive your in line status update, and then you wait again for you interview to be scheduled.

Im in a same Spot My anniversary date is 10/26/2013

Send on 7/29

Did BIO on -8/12

As of now no updates yet

More or less the same for me.

Anniversary date - 10/31/13

Sent - 8/5

Bio - 8/22

Hopefully, we will be completing the journey by November.
