I-94 web "Not Found" (CR-1, been 3 weeks) Please help..

I trying to retrieve an I-94 number from the web but on the last line said: Class of Admission: (on the select pop up list) i could not find CR-1 and i tried every words on the pop up list still have error messaged Admission (I-94) Record Number: Not Found. Please help.

if you really came in on a CR-1 or IR-1 visa,

then

you don't have an I-94. Instead, you got an endorsement stamp that turns the visa into a 1 year temporary green card.

Give up on this 'chasing an I-94', as your basis for entering the country, a CR-1 or IR-1 visa, doesn't peg you for being eligible for an I-94.

Think you need it for a SSN? No la. Just bring the passport into the SSA office, fill out the SS-5, and ask the clerk to perform a SAVE database lookup on you via VISA NAME or A#.

No I-94 with an IR or CR visa.

Thanks a lots, Yesterday i went to DMV apply for the ID they said DMV will not start my application with out my printed I-94 A#, so they asked me go to CBP website to print out the I-94. So i think i should wait for the green card then. By the way what's SSA stand for? (i did received my SSN week ago)

SSA is the Social Security Administration. If you have you SSN number you are fine and do not need to visit an SSA office. However you likely have to bring the SSN card to the DMV or Driver's license shop to get your Driver's license.

i live in Fremont, California. I brought my Passport, SS card to DMV and wait almost 3 hours until they call my turn!!! when i turn in my passport and SS card they reject my application and tell me go home print out the I-94 then bring back to DMV so they can process my application and now i can't get A# on the web???

The person you talked to was a moron. Go back, and if they give you the same hassle just ask to talk to a supervisor who actually knows what they're talking about.

Agreed person you talk ed to is dumb.. here:

Also ask for a supervisor next time. You're a permanent resident, and as such do not get your A# from an I-94 but it's the registration number on your visa in your passport (simply add and A and, if necessary, 0(zero) just like you did for the ELIS website.)

Unfortunately, driver licensing offices are behind on the times and my wife learned first hand why they are one of the most loathed agencies in the country. When we tried to get a state ID card for her shorty after she arrived here (her GC had not come yet), we had the same exact trouble with DOL here in WA that kelvinfoxconn had with DMV in CA. I'll never forget that DOL employee's flippant attitude when I explained to him how temporary green cards now work (he told me "we don't care about that"). Ironically, CBP has on office in the same building.

The decision makers at driver licensing offices need to be made aware of the changes and update their regulations accordingly. Until that happens, I would suggest not even dealing with them until you have the actual green card.

hi all. Do any one know usually how long do i have to wait for the greencard? I have been here for over 4 weeks already. Do i have to apply or pay $165 for the greencard or they automatic send it to me? please help...
