Please explain to me why you quoted my post and then proceeded to make statements as if you read the opposite of what I actually posted? Far from suggesting that GZ shot willy nilly, I said that the verdict could not be used as an excuse to shoot at people willy nilly just because you don't like the look of them and that those who are making such suggestions are using the verdict to manipulate anyone who is daft enough to believe that this is a credible outcome. Honestly I have no idea how to respond to your post, it's beyond me.

In December, 2012 the Federal Appeals Court ordered IL to implement "shall issue" concealed carry within 180 days.

In its ruling it included an interim period in which IL was required to accept the CC license of other states. Immediately, 10's of thousands of IL residents began carrying concealed handguns as many of them had CC permits from other states. There was an immediate backlog of class schedules for trainers teaching the courses for other states permits.

Homicide in Chicago is down 37% this year. More young black men are alive today because of concealed carry. The crme rate will reduce further over the next few years as more and more IL residents obtain permits. I would like to see the sme enthusiasm and passion for the dozens lives saved in Chicago as I have seen for one thug in Florida.

It has boosted sales for Sturm, Ruger and S&W helping the economy and providing good paying jobs with benefits to makers of firearms.

They're not personal insults if one is simply recouting that you have certain topics to which you return repeatedly. It is irrefutable that you regularly return to certain topics, and turn threads to the discussion of one of your pet topics. That's not an insult.

Now if I were to call you something nasty, like "a gun-obsessed whackjob" or similar, that would be an insult. I tend not to do that because I am mindful of the TOS. Please note that the example above was meant purely as an example, and not as an insult, since while I disagree with you on many things, I do not think you are a whackjob.
