Today I have received an e-mail stating that they have mailed me RFE letter on July 2. My NOA1 is Jan 16 & got transferred to TSC. I was expecting it anyway, so happy that it moved one step ahead. Now waiting for hard copy, might be for G325A & Letter of intent with my original signatures (beneficiary), but let us see once the hard copy is received.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Hi HunnyBunny, I'm a Feb 2013 filer of K1. My Fiance is also in Mumbai. I'd be interested to know more about what you received the RFE for. Can you please keep me updated? I have been reading the master RFE list and one thing I found out yesterday is that on the form I-129F on Part C, Question #3, everyone who has not checked any boxes seem to be getting an RFE for this.

Thanks for sharing the information. I will keep that in mind. I will also keep you updated regarding RFE. We are waiting for the hard copy. We might receive it only after this long weekend I believe.

Please let us know what comes out of the RFE. I just got a similar email as yours and my NOA1 was around the same date as you. They mailed the letter on July 3rd and i think that i will get it by next week.

Same here...at least now we're getting somewhere. We didn't include letters of intent in our application, so I'm under the impression that might be it. Luckily I already sent one to my fiancée... I guess we'll know next week,

[August 16th 2013] CEAC updates - London logs my medical results

[August 23rd 2013] I call DoS and they tell me my interview date, (2 weeks since I sent ds-2001)

[August 27th 2013 CEAC update - London dispatches packet 4]

[August 29th 2013] Packet 4 received
[september 24th 2013] Interview - Refused due to passport and birth certificate condition

[september 26th 2013] Emergency appt at HM Passport Office London - New Passport and Birth Certificate in hand
[september 30th 2013] DX collects passport and birth certificate

[October 3rd] - Docs delivered to Embassy

[October 10th] - London Approves and Issues our Visa!!

[October 16th 2013] 4.00pm - Visa in my hand, 11pm POE -Newark

A lot of TSC transfers received RFEs today!

Hey u said u got a RFE? were u transferred in May or just a coupla weeks ago?

We were transferred from the Vermont Service Center to the Texas Service Center on June 21st.

So unless there is someone else who hasnt spoken up you are the first/one of the first to see any action from June 21st transferrals!!

Yeah seems like it. My fiancée contacted her senator (she's a real go-getter ;) so that might've helped somewhat...or perhaps they're finally starting to process Dec/January applications.

We too received an RFE today. Our NOA1 was Jan. 8th and we were also transferred to TSC on May 29th. This is so frustrating but at least we know the process is moving along. Does anyone know what the general timeline is to an NOA2 after the RFE is sent in? A month? Maybe two?

Hello everyone,

Today my fiance has received hard copy of the RFE. They have asked for legal verification of my correct name. I have changed my name after getting divorce from my previous marriage. I am back to my maiden name. And while applying for K1 visa, we have applied in my maiden name. So there are name variations in my divorce decree & form I-129F & form G325. So I need to provide affidavit of Change in name.
