Hey all,

I'm one of the VSC December filers who got transferred to TSC at the end of May. I'm hoping to hear back soon as a lot of others have either been approved or received RFEs and since it's been over 6 months now. Unfortunately, I just looked through all the documents I sent again and I realize I made two mistakes and I'm really worried that the petition will get denied. The mistakes:

(1) My fiancee's G-325A says to refer to an attached sheet listing her previous addresses, but it really looks like I forgot to include that attachment because it's not in the copy of the items I originally submitted

(2) I gave them a list of previous in-person meetings to corroborate with some of the evidence we provided, but I accidentally listed that she was here form January 2008 to June 2012, which would make it look like she seriously overstayed a visitor's visa. It was January 2012, not 2008! I'm hoping based on the other meetings I listed they'll realize this was an honest mistake because I was in Malaysia to visit her between July 2008 and September 2008, May 2010 and August 2010, and May 2011 to June 2011, so she can't possibly have been here!

My concern is more with the incomplete G-325A. Will they deny the petition because of that? I can't possibly wait another 6 months if they deny and I have to refile. Can I assume they won't deny it because they've kept it this long and that we will just get an RFE for that information (and possibly a corrected list of in-person meetings)?

If anyone has any insight into what might happen now it would be greatly appreciated. I'm really, really worried and hoping and praying that at most it'll be an RFE, but I'm scared that it'll be denied.

Thanks, that makes me feel better! I'll give them a call Monday and see if I can get a service request to fix those errors, but I'm not sure how that would work since there's a whole sheet I need to add in.

not sure how it will work for you either, I was told to write an explanation and submit all the support to the office that had the file .. marking the envelope attn:xyz unit

I have also seen members who had to fix something within their filing and were unsuccessful with uscis, but did get success with the omnibudsman (for their contact it is on the uscis site)

I wouldn't stress about the rejection, just document everything you are doing to fix it just in case

As a follow up, I called this morning and they said to do the same. Write a letter and include the documents, then send it to the Texas Service Center, since our petition was transferred there. Dropped the packet off with USPS this morning and it should be there tomorrow by noon. Fingers crossed the documents make it in before our review.

This won't work, but oh well. It seems you were a victim of the misinformation line.
