I called NVC today and they told me I'll be receiving a checklist in my email because I signed my I-864 in blue ink!!! They told me to sign the form in black ink and send it again.

When did this move from blue to black ink for signatures happened??? Has anyone received similar notice?

The first line of the form http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-864.pdf where it says "Start here":

"Type or print in black ink"

It's pretty finicky of them to send it back to you, but it does say black.

Nothing to help you with. If they ask you to do something, do it. I know the wait time is maddening but any delay is better than a denial.

I'm a dual US/Hungarian citizen (both by birth; Hungarian citizenship verification TBA), and my husband is a dual British/Irish citizen (by treaty) from Northern Ireland. We are atheists.
