Guys, i have been waiting for my GC for 10 months already.

I submitted everything including my I-693 very famous FORM and my vaccination sheet.

Anyway here is what my RFE says:

You are K1 fiancée dependent whose medical examination is UNAVAILABLE. Submit a copy of your completed and signed Department of State (DS) medical forms or submit a properly completed and signed Form I-693, Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record 10/11/11 or later ) for the applicant on Form I-485. the medical examination must be conducted by a civil surgeon who has been designated by USCIS.

:(((((((... What's up with people that work at USCIS offices???

i have everything, i sent them all.. Now my Examination expired in April because they tool way too long to process my case.

What can I do?

Happy to see you back on the forum, Elisinha!

So sorry to hear that.

Perhaps make copies again and send those in? I'm sure you'll hear from them soon after if you need to re-do your medical... or call, ask to speak with a tier 2 person and try to see when exactly is the cut off/1 year take effect? From the time you file or from the time it is adjudicated..?

No idea, although I'm sure you'll get insightful info on here.

Chin up, I know it's frustrating, you're almost there.

Same thing happened to another person in Philly.

After 9 months of waiting, they got an RFE for medical.

To be safe, do what that person did, they did a brand new I-693 and all. GC approved, within 5 days after USCIS received the RFE paperwork.

I have a feeling it is going to happen to us too. Everything will be expired and we will have to cough up the money to get all done.

Oh, you know, AOS pending, like everybody else.

Filed in September, still patiently waiting. Haven't done any service request or anything, seems like a hassle more than anything else. I'm sort of in the "I guess it'll come when it'll come" mind set. A little impatient and frustrated, but I guess as long as I'm with D., able to work and travel, I'm okay.

I'm going back to Canada mid July and have a 63 minutes connecting flight coming back to the USA (going through customs there) - I'm hoping to get my green card before that... I'll probably end up changing my flight, though. Not counting on having my GC by then, looking at the way things are going at NBC.. and last time they spent an hour trying to figure out my AP/I94 situation. Ugh. Wouldn't want to miss my connecting flight because of that...

Let us know how that phone call went!

Hope you are happy and all settled into your new home. I'm sure you've been keeping busy with the moves - been adjusting well?

Take care and keep us updated!

Agreed. I don't think a phone call is going to get you what you want unfortunately. I think the Tier 2 person is just going to tell you that you need a new I-693. It's unfair, and will be pricey, but that is what will get you your GC most quickly.
