Profile/Avatar picture discrepancy

On the home page when I start a new topic there seems to be a discrepancy in the profile/avatar picture that displays on the home page. Below I'm providing an example of what I mean.

The picture below shown for my profile/avatar is one that I had before and during the latest VJ website update. However since then I've updated to a picture from our wedding in Cairo. The wedding picture shows in my current Profile and as my Avatar when I post in a thread on VJ. However when it comes to posting an original new thread the VJ home page reflects the older picture from before and during the time of the latest VJ website update.

I'm wondering if there is some setting that I am missing in order to update the picture, or if this is an issue that has to do with the latest website update.

Darnell was it of the twin looking toddlers? I seem to recall one like that. I also discovered that my old avatar shows up in the Egypt portal too. Try checking your portal for your old avatar if you want it back.

One of the things that went away with the upgrade was the difference between the profile picture and the avatar but it seems that the avatar still lurks in mysterious ways.

Here is another example of what I'm talking about with the discrepancy.

all of a sudden when i reply all the toolbars features are dithered out. I can't bold nothing and this is a problem on my interview thread because all the bold stuff and font size i can't touch.

can't even attach a dang pic copy or paste. What is going on here. This just happened in the last 3 hours.

unfortunately, it's just to big to show, the file set that i made

i not 'take a snapshot' - instead, i made a complete copy of the html page.
