Hi,

Is it normal that the link given in my packet3 letter is not the kprocessing page I've been visiting for months? I just got all my paperwork ready and then notices the URL is different, ends in ds2001. This has general stuff not for K1, and says I should only send in DS130 Pt1 and DS2001. What about the 156, 156K and 157's? If I didn;t read this forum, I wouldnt send them in because this letter would only lead me to that location. However, I do read them and so I have filled out all the other forms...

Is this just another weird thing where they don't send the right link? Or did they change something?

Zoe

You might have gotten the wrong version of the letter. Does it say Fiancé in the first sentence like the letter Dan posted in this http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/350185-london-2012-k1s-from-noa2-to-interview-thread/?p=5180175

It could have been the letter for spouse visas that were DCF and filed in London that you got sent by mistake. You'll notice this DCF page http://london.usembassy.gov/ivprocess.html has a link to instructions in the right column. That is the ...2001 link you are looking at.

Oh no! Yeah, It doesn't say anything about K1 or fiance like it does in that example...

Have you ever heard of this happening before (sent the wrong letter)? Is there likely to be any problem because of this?

I know they know I'm up for a fiance visa because at the bottom under my info it says K1 GBR as my preference category..

I'm so glad I have this forum and therefore know what I'm meant to be doing without them telling me... So is it OK to just go ahead and send all the K1 forms in anyway do you reckon?

Thanks Nich-Nick!

Human error. He/she picked up a letter out of the wrong pile to put in your envelope. Probably needed a cuppa tea. You don't need the actual letter. Print Dan's letter so you have rest of the info about if you exceed 4 months, get a new letter of intent from the USC. You are clear to send in your forms. Have you read this post? http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/350185-london-2012-k1s-from-noa2-to-interview-thread/
