Anyone know what this means? :S

On May 24, 2013, we transferred this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) to another office for processing because they now have jurisdiction over the case. We sent you a notice of this transfer. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

NOA1 - 03/04/2014
Biometrics - 03/28/2014
EAD in post - 5/5/2014

EAD in hand - 5/10/2014
Interview waiver letter received - 6/9/2014

It'd be hard to interpret this as anything but good news. Vermont have realized they can't cope with the backlog and at their current rate, December/January filers would be waiting a ridiculous amount

Sounds like they've sent your file to a different processing centre?

3rd May 2013 - Married in London
7th May 2013 - I-130 filed
4th June 2013 - NOA2 (approved)
16th July 2013 - Interview (approved)
30th July 2013 - POE San Francisco
29th August 2013 - 2 year green card arrived

I was just about to ask the same thing!! I just got the notification that mine was transferred as well!! I can't find anything about I-129F's being transferred to another service center, local office, etc!! ????

Mine was transferred too. It means it's going to another service center, such as Texas or Nebraska because they're most likely trying to make up for their backlog from the CSC files that they had to take over which is why CSC was pumping them out so fast lately. Ugh.

I've seen this claim a couple of times that CSC sent files to VSC. Where did you get this information?

Someone else who is a regular on this forum said it and it makes sense considering how far behind CSC was and then miraculously got faster. I think there may have been a news post on the USCIS website or something.

When the notice comes in the mail, it should tell you where the case is being processed. In the past they have shifted workloads to other offices.

Got the same message. So this is not where they send it to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate that will process it? I was hoping it was going to London's US Embassy, but.....guess maybe ....not.

I am so glad for this forum. I thought I was the only one. I felt so bad.

We received the same message this morning. I called the USCIS and was told that this means that our service center (VCS) is backed up and have therefore sent our cases to another office for faster processing. I asked if this meant that there were a problem with the petition and she said no. If there were a problem we would have received earlier notification. She said to look at this as a good thing because they are working to make a decision quicker. One we receive our written notification in the mail it will tell us if there is anything we need to do and more than likely which office it was sent to. We received our NOA1 on December 11, 2012.

Good morning all.

I got the same email about 30 minutes ago. I guess we all have to wait for the hardcopy in the mail.

I hope and pray that this will be our month or beginning of June.

K-1 Visa

12/26/12 * I-129F mailed out

12/28/12 * I-129F received and signed

01/02/13 * NOA1

01/07/13 * Alien registration # changed

05/24/13 * Transferred to TSC

05/30/13 * Now transferred to my local office

06/03/13 * Hardcopy of transfer notice received with new receipt date (now 12/31/12)

06/05/13 * Infopass at local USCIS. Was told that petition is in Vermont (so the system says). As for Me: Keeping my faith

06/19/13 * RFE email received

06/29/13 * RFE hardcopy received (asking for letter of intent to marry from both)

07/02/13 * RFE mailed out

07/03/13 * RFE received in TX

07/05/13 * USCIS update "Review for RFE"

07/10/13 * NOA2 (email) God is GREAT

07/18/13 * NOA2 hardcopy recieved

07/22/13 * Case sent to NVC (new case # to be assigned)

I received the identical email about 30 minutes ago as well. We got our NOA1 on December 6th, 2012. So from the look of things, we all filed around the same time so maybe they are wroking to get our NOA2 or RFEs (hopefully not) out to us. Let's keep each other posted and good luck :)
