HELLO DO I SEND THE AOS PACKAGE THROUGH SNAIL MAILL OR EMAIL PLEASE

Hi!

It depends on where you're from. Some consulates accept electronic docs while others require paper-based processing. In my case, I had to mailed all the docs to NVC via snail mail. The best thing to do is to call NVC and ask them if you should send the docs via snail mail or e-mail.

Please check the the table in the link below. Unless the beneficiary is from the countries listed in the table, all other countries need to send in their documents by snail mail . Only the countries in the table below can send their documents electronically.

Hi guys. Just finished gathering the civil docs. NVC sent us a checklist to submit the civil docs (DS-260 is done).

The question is, which coversheet do we need to use for the civil docs. The one in the IV payment summary or the one in the check list? They have different attention(attn) in the address. One is CMR the other is DR.

Thanks.

Hi.

I have just sent in my AOS and IV package to the NVC. I was just wondering how they will tell me if its 'case complete' . Do i have to start calling them again or will it be automatically updated on my CEAC account?

Thank you very much.

Good luck to all on their Visa Journey! :)

Hello everyone;

My sponsor is including her husbands income in the form as well. So is she going to be the only joint sponsor or she is one of the joint sponsors and her husband is the 2nd one?

Also does her husband also need to provide tax and income documents along with I-864A?

Finally, we just got our case number today, thus joining you on this thread.

When you submit your documents via mail, do you write the NVC case number on upper right of every document?

If so, do you use pencil or pen? Would this cause an RFE?

Also, I just login to CEAC website and I do not see the DS-261 there. Is DS-261 form accessible from CEAC website or elsewhere?

How long does it take to show up after you receive your case number?

Thanks!

I-864A is for household member. If you're sponsor(petitioner) is using his/her household member's income to meet the poverty guidelines, he/she must accomplish that form. Yes, each sponsor/household member must provide all evidences that states his/her income tax to be added to your petitioner(sponsor). I hope it helps you a little bit.

I would say better send originals. In my part i requested multiple copy of original docs. It cause a bit of money but it pays off. I got no problem with my NVC (thanks God)

Good luck with your Journey :-)
