Did you ask them when it was transfer? It all depends on your field office work load. Nothing unusual, most of the cases post Aug 15 getting transfer to Local field offices. You need to get an info pass appointment and visit your Local office to find out if they have your file.

Hi! I don't have anything useful to add (sorry!) I didn't know there was a service center here in Tampa! That will hopefully be useful when my Ahmed comes up for adjusting to the 10 year card! Best wishes to you on your visa journey!

I don't know about the Tampa office but I do know about the Orlando one. We are still in the process of getting my husband's 10 year card. We originally filed the I-751 in February 2012, got a RFE in Oct.'12, sent the requested evidence in Nov '12, had to file for a service request in Jan 13, then had an interview on 2/13/13. Still haven't heard a word from anyone since then. The IO wouldn't give my husband the I-155 stamp to renew the extension of the letter he got to extend his GC until April 2014. We were told to come back the beginning of April to get the stamp if needed. Well tomorrow we have an infopass to get the stamp because we STILL haven't heard a word on his GC!!!!

Hubby is wanting to go ahead and apply for his citizenship but it was explained to us if he files while still waiting for his 10 year card, they will cash the $680.00 application fee for citizenship then put the application off to the side until the decision is made about the 10 year card. What a crock!!!! Sorry I don't have an extra $680 just lying around to give to the government. We are going to use it to hire a lawyer in case we need to file an appeal!!!

Very frustrated and completely mystified why it's taking so long!

Honestly, four months is not too long of a wait. There are people who have been waiting eight months to get their NOA2, and still have heard nothing. Especially in an immigrant heavy area like Tampa, I would expect at least a few more months before you hear anything. You can make an info-pass appointment to go in person to speak with someone at the field office, so as to maybe get some more information.
