hi,i really appreciate your help

We received today letter by mail ( hard copy) from U.S. Department of Homeland Security i-130 approval notice, consisting our names I and my husband and the receipt i-130 number and some other informations to contact NVC by email NVCINQUIRY@STATE.GOV if we d'ont get any informations during 30 days to send documents or something like that ....i d'ont have the hard copy right now with me !,

when i checked the website today the status is still : initial review with new informations thez added 6 days ago because i have not checked the status days ago

we mailed you a notice that we certified our approval of this case and sent it to the appropriate appellate body for review. They will notify you directly when they make a final decision. If you move while this case is pending, follow the instructions provided in the notice and use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center

do you think we are approved  and everything is normal and we can call NVC the coming days to have case number or not approved yet :crying: ?

thank you

While you wait you should come on over to the NVC filers thread and read Post #1 and #2.. It's taking about 3o days or more for cases to get to NVC than another 2 weeks for case#. give or take.

Someone else had this letter about a month ago.

There was some speculation about what it meant but no definitive answer.

Some thought it meant that someone had approved/denied the petition, but then the decision was being appealed.

Here's the link:

Also, here's a link to one from 2009.

Maybe that thread has info:
