Where to file Form I-29F

Is it necessary to use the express mail address or should I just mail 1st class to P.O. box 660151 Dallas, TX with a receipt of delivery.

Will it speed up my process with the express delivery enough to make the extra expense worth it...I noticed it goes to 2501 S State HWY 121 Business Stew 400 Lewisville, TX. i apperciate any input on this topic, thank you... SDY

PO BOx will take some more time to deliver, but express will deliver sooner.

The instructions that come with the I-129F say you can do either way. Only you can answer if the faster express delivery and other features (e.g. tracking) are worth the extra cost. I plan to send it express.

We sent our regular mail and had no problem. It doesn't necessarily mean that you will get approved any faster if you express it. I would save the money and just make sure you have a tracking on it.

In Oct. 2011 when I sent in my initial I-129F petition, I sent it regular mail with return receipt, with no problems. I do not feel that the loss of a day or two in delivery vs. express mail was worth the cost. Kinda like: "hurry up and wait." Once they send you your I-797c (NOA1) receipt of petition, that is when the long wait of 5-8 months begins…

Send it priority mail in the USPS provided envelope. Costs less than $5 and gets there in 2 days. You can send it to the PO Box as long as you do not get signature required.

You CAN send it to the PO Box and get signature acknowledgement of receipt. I have done it for all of USCIS petition/application mailings to USCIS lockbox locations.
