that is a good idea. My case is still in process just one last thing to do. But i do feel like even when u finish you don't get that satisfaction of feeling like its complete when you go through sanaa, yemen immigration. i know so many people and even family members who have been in this process of waiting for their interviews for years. Some have waited 5, 6, even 7 years. But the routine and the average wait for a visa through the whole process that I've seen and heard about is around 3 or 4 yrs. So depressing but hopefully our luck will change but it's hard to believe when the stats are like this. who knows.

I aswell just sent in the IV package and am hoping for a case complete soon.

Those people who you said wait 5-7 years, I think it's because they use to file the i130 petition through the embassy in Sana'a. So I feel we are better of that we filed from the States. No facts, just me assuming.

But like you said, case complete isn't nearly the end. Hopefully this year goes by quick because 1 year seems to be the average from case complete- interview time.

Forgot to mention that the bright side, from what I've noticed from 5 people I know who got approved, they got approved on the spot at their interview. No AP, which is a lot scarier than waiting for an interview IMO.

I think it's because the embassy is so backlogged they don't wait to add more to it and are more willing to give out the visas.

guys dont u notice that we are the only nationality that treated such way !! do u know why !

cause we stay negatively waiting with out doing an obvious action that make the U.S. State Department immigration notice us

we need to conduct our suffers to the officials in a respective way ,that we could got our rights in time revealing that we r a nation deserve to be respected .

guys I have an idea should make them turn to us

what if we all design one respective letter to the U.S. Department state and we all send it to their web site as well as to their page at the Facebook using our accounts so it reach them as a once like an objection ,

then follow it by daily sending how many days u have been waiting for the interview adding the day u r in ..

life comes only once and what has gone cant be restored believe me that will make them at least touched by our feelings . future cant wait and what u have planned have to followed by an action ..

who agree with me I WILL START TODAY AFTER WE AGREE ABOUT THE LETTER CONTENT .

You're right but I don't think there's much we can do.

The U.S. embassy in Yemen use to schedule the interview just a few months after case complete, so it wasn't always like this.

I'm pretty sure it's because they're backlogged after they closed last year. And if that's the case, which it most likely is, then we're just going to have to wait... which sucks. =/

look out for me! hoping to get this all done this month!.. i can't wait to see when the people who have had their cases completed earlier this year get their interviews so i can predict when our interview will be. and when that happens i hope you tell us about your experience so we know what to expect and what to watch out for.

i think it's easier if we feed off of each other and look to fellow yemen members because we can't really compare our visa journey to every other country because it's not the same. so we should look to help each other to help one another know what to expect and what to do.

i appreciate all my fellow yemeni members because it's nice to know i'm not the only one. not the only one who has already waited more than a year to get an nvc case number and will most likely (unfortunately) wait another year to get an interview. so good luck to all!

I also completed my case in July 2012 and is still waiting for an interview. The way I see is it will be at least a year wait from the NVC completed case date to get an interview. This is the only Embassy that is extremely unorganized. If you take a look at any other Embassy there is always appointments available for birth abroad or any us citizen service but not in Yemen. It takes months to get any appointment. They are just simply unorganized and no one is speaking up about it.
