I haven't tried looking on the site in a couple weeks because I got tired of seeing it say that my case couldn't be found.

Well I just checked and it says the following:

Post Decision Activity

On December 11, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Does this mean no RFEs and we're on to the next phase? I'm completely in shock. My reaction was so messed up that my husband thought something was wrong and I ruined the excitement of the moment because I was freaking out instead of cheering!

I checked for me and both the kids, all have the same note. Am I missing something here or am I good?

I just got mine a couple days ago too :) It means no RFE, and now you're just waiting on the NVC. You'll get another status change telling you your case was sent to the State Department (National Visa Center), and they'll contact you with further instructions. CONGRATS!!!

I've been watching stuff - seems casefiles moving from MSC to NVC get there lickity split, within 10 days !

Time to read Saylin's post about Canadien e-filing, here on the wiki !! And Train yer USCitizen Spouse about it, as well !

When yer done freaking out - do , please, I beg of you - update yer timeline !

Darnell... I am TOTALLY going to update my timeline right now! I was going to ask if I put the date in as today for my NOA2 or should I wait for the paper to arrive etc?

I've been studying Saylin's stuff since I arrived here and have most items ready to go. However, I thought I was ahead of the game since I wasn't expecting this to move until the new year. I have more questions now of course but I'll wait until I catch my breath!

My case was not expedited and yes, I have an MSC number. It had always said the same thing when I would try looking up the number which is why I gave up. Then today, just for fun, I looked and it was different. I actually hit enter and didn't read the screen right away since I assumed it would just say my case could not be found but then I saw a date out of the corner of my eye and was shocked.

Yay congrats!!! I have more hope than I did a minute ago! :D

I'm glad to hear that! I keep refreshing the page thinking the approval is going to disappear and it is going to go back to saying my case cannot be found at this time.

This is the greatest Christmas present I could have hoped for this year!

I had the same reaction! Filed Oct 3 & approved in Dec 3, just 2 months from filing. Got the NOA2 in the mail 3 days later. Mine is IR-5 though.

was your case being processed at NBC? my priority date is oct 25 and still nothing, if it was processed at a field office do you know where? at least which state/city are you close to? I'm just trying to get a better perspective. congrats on your approval though, happy for ya! hope mine comes soon too
