K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures

This forum discusses the US immigration procedure used to obtain a K1 Fiance(e) Visa for a non US Citizen (living overseas) engaged to a US Citizen. K2 Visas for children of the foreign fiance(e) (if applicable) are also discussed.

sjr09 So are you saying this is incorrect  when it specifically states this is for K1 and K2 visa to be discussed. If so there are other post just like this that are not in the regional forums and I did not see you making any reference to those comments. And where is it listed in the TOS that it has to be listed in the Regional Forum when others have posted like questions and they have not been pointed out.

Mik2012 people on this site tend to be snarky with there responses. In regards to your question she should not have any problems in regards to her daughter. Since she is the only one listed on the BC she will be fine. Good luck with the rest of your journey............

Your confusing, "snarky" with being lectured, as people on this site tend to need.

Just to reiterate what other people are saying it will not be a problem. Up until 2005 a father's name would not be put on a b/c if the parent's weren't married - even if the child was 'acknowledged'. It is still fairly common for no father to be listed when the parents aren't/weren't married. The people at the embassy are very familiar with this situation and it won't be an issue.
