Calculated NBC NOA2 date

Hi fellow VJ'ers,

I calculated a rough NOA2 date for September and Oktober filers who got handled by the NBC (normal cases, no expediting). The dates are based on the information in the VJ timelines. Please note that this is just for fun, it might not even come close to the actual dates. Let me know what you're calculated date range is! Then we can see if the calculations were correct.

September filers: NOA1 date + 76-82 days

October filers: NOA1 date + 72-86 days

My NOA1 date is 10 October, so its:

10 October + 72-86 = 21 December - 2 January.

So that would be the range in which I would receive my NOA2 according to this calculation. Again, it's just for fun cuz I like playing with numbers :) Have fun!

Thaks for the number crunching. We got our NOA1 on Oct. 2, so I guess we're waiting for Dec. 14-28. We're in Tokyo, sent the package to the Chicago lockbox, and were sent directly to the National Benefits Center (MSC number).

Ohh this is fun.

If I use the stats for October filers, given that we've got NOA1 on November 13, it is possible to have NOA2 in the Jan 23 - Feb 6 range. Whee!

I'm not holding my breath though.

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

Good idea and thanks for calculating. I hope you are right! That would be alot quicker than the average! And it's hard being sent to the NBC and not really knowing since there isn't much precedent.

Our predicted Range is Jan 5-19

Great! We filed last Sept. 1 and got the NOA1 on Sept. 11. Can't figure out the range from the NOA1 till we will receive the NOA2 though. LOL

Apology, MATH is too easy for me. HAHAHA! Mr. Calculator, where are you?

in all your ways submit to Him,

Aqid - thanks for that.

I too, have been crunching the numbers, trying to figure out what's been going on with August and September filers, studing the timelines, trying to do some projections.

I do have one request for those folk reading this:

if you have an MSC receipt #, please update:

1. your profile, showing your filing location to be National Benefits Center

2. your timeline, showing your service center to be the National Benefits Center

I asked the site owner to add these data points a few weeks back - he did so, and the TIMELINE forecasting algorithm might actually 'kick in' if we all switch over to MSC - more data points? more data points for forecasting (each of us is a data point, there, in the algorithm)

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
