Having a wonderful week! With my interview being a success, today's thanksgiving was the "BEST"! Interview was on 11/21/2012 @ 10:05am in Santa Ana, CA.

Arrived around 9:25am and while I was waiting to be called I just reviewed the questions again. Called in at exactly 10:05am. Followed the interviewer to his office and before seating down he asked me to swear in.He asked for my ID, Resident card, and passport. He started to review my papers and asked me a few questions like where do i work, where does my wife work, have i gone back to my country, and am I still married to my wife. onto the test he asked to read a sentence on a paper which I did. The second test was he wanted me to write Congress meets in Washington. The third and final test was the questioners.

1.We elect a President for how many years?

▪ four (4)

2.In what month do we vote for President?*

▪ November

3.What is the name of the Speaker of the House of Representatives now?

▪ (John) Boehner

4.Who lived in America before the Europeans arrived?

▪ American Indians

5.When was the Declaration of Independence adopted?

▪ July 4, 1776

6.Name one of the two longest rivers in the United States.

▪ Missouri (River)

▪ Mississippi (River)

I answered all of them correctly and at the end he Congratulated me that i passed. He informed me that i should receive a letter within 90days for my oath taking.

We walked out of his office so he can copy my Resident card, driver license, and passport. He gave me a letter stating CONGRATULATIONs!!! As i walked out of the office he said "MABUHAY"!!!

This has been a journey to me and I couldn't have done it with all the help that i got from here and from the other forum's as well. This is a big relief to me and my family. I wish you all luck and if you have any questions for me please feel free to do so. I will try my best to guide you to the right path of citizenship.
