great ! how long did it take her to apply? did she go to the the SSA office or mail the paperwork?

She dropped me off at work and an hour and a half later, she texted me that she was approved and it would come in the mail in about two weeks. She filled the paperwork out on the spot, at the SSA office.

Day 00 11/02 Mailed AOS Package
Day 05 11/07 AOS Package Accepted (No online update)
Day 07 11/09 Checks cashed
Day 25 11/27 Biometrics appointment taken on date assigned
Day 26 11/28 Online status of I-485 shows RFE since 11/27, no other online updates
Day 29 12/01 RFE in hand. Requesting last year's tax return even though I sent the previous 2 yrs and current pay stub
Day 34 12/06 Appointment to expedite EAD/AP so she can get SSN to submit last year's taxes and respond to RFE
Day 34 12/06 Called after appointment failed, got told an expedite request will be submitted for EAD/AP
Day 35 12/07 Received call about our RFE/expedite process, said we should have EAD within two weeks
Day 40 12/12 Checked USCIS in the morning and the EAD is in Decision status/AP is in Post Decision
Day 45 12/17 Text of status update, online says EAD card mailed today/AP no change
Day 47 12/19 EAD/AP combo card came in the mail
Day 59 12/31 Left country for 3 weeks
Day 80 01/21 Back in US
Day 83 01/23 Applied successfully for SSN, told two weeks by mail
Day 88 01/28 Social Security Card in hand
Day 133 3/14 Mailed tax returns with RFE (after due date)
Day 138 3/19 Received texts about case and online updates that they are reviewing the response.
Day 141 3/22 Received denial letters dated 3/18
Day 146 3/27 Received text saying that the case was reopened
Day 154 4/02 Text notice that interview scheduling is underway
Day 161 4/09 Text notice interview 10 May
Day 193 5/10 Interview

Day 201 5/18 GC in hand

gotcha - they gave her her SSN # though on the spot correct? i probably have to go through the process next week as my wife's EAD should come in tomorrow or monday.

Day 11/26 -Letter for Biometrix - its on 12/20

Day 12/20/ went to do biometrics, turn away as wife has a cut on thumb - will try to walk in next week

Day 12/28 - bio metrics done ! - walked in San Diego as we were visiting my in laws.

Day 1/4/2013 - received text/email that case is ready to be scheduled for interview !

Day 1/15/2013 - received hard copy letter to let us know interview is on 2/12 !

Day 1/17/2013 - received text/email that EAD has been approved

Day 1/26/2013 - received EAD card

Day 2/12 - interview done - approved on spot!

Day 00: Nov/20/12: AOS Package sent(all Forms)

Nov/23/12: at 9:27 A.M.Package signed and recieved

Nov/29/12: Check cashed

Dec/03/12: Recieved Receipts and Biometrics appointment

Dec/20/12: Biometrics appointment

Jan/2/13. : received email an text. Ready for Testing and interview

Jan/23/13: text and email that EAD and AP approved!!!! Yes!!!!!!!

Day 70: Jan/29/13: Card/Document Production

Day 73: Feb/01/13: Recieved EAD card.

Day 101: recieved text/email that AOS interview is April 2nd.

Day--- : AOS approved for green card. Got stamp in passport.

Thank you guys!

We arrived there 10mins. before our scheduled time which was 12:30pm and waited another 40mins. before my name was called.. The IO was in her late 30's kinda strict looking but overall she was very nice.. She called my name and took me and my husband to her office.. We sat there while she was was flipping thru my files that I submitted and basically she just asked my husband his name, address and where did we met.. She asked my name, address, date of birth , home number, ss#, the last time I was admitted in the US and the people who were on our wedding pictures.. She also asked for utility bills, rental agreement, health insurance card, original copy of marriage certificate, bank account and joint tax return.. After that she said 'ok everything looks good I will approved your greencard and you just wait for it in the mail within 2-4 weeks.. She gave me a copy of the interview result and we shoke her hands and was done in less than 10mins..

P.S.

She never took any documents that I brought me..

so our interview is on 2/12 and i wanted to let you guys know what i have as far as a abonafide marraige and evidence.

three bank accounts ( 2 savings and one checking)

several credit cards in her name

proof of insurance on both cars ( just got her a car ! )

health insurance ( i have one set of document that shows her coverage and address - it expired though and applied to another insurance that i have but won't take effect until march)

paper showing her as a beneficiary on my IRA

pictures of course

mobile bill showing her as an authorized user ( its a screen shot , on billing statement it shows only my name).

possible life insurance beneficiary paper ( still working on getting one but it may not be by the time of interview)

i can't remember if i have anything else ( i am at work now heheh but writing the stuff out of memory)but wanted to share what i have, i'll have to check my paperwork as i may have forgotten anything else.

I am going to add her to be on my house that i own , but my mortgage company is saying i have to refinance my loan in order to do that so thats not going to happen anytime soon before interview.

can you guys see if there is anything else that i can add her too ? any utilities may take a billing cycle to generate names but i wanted to see if i have good enough evidence or panic..ha ? thanks!
