Yesterday we arrived at the Los Angeles local field Office at 7:30 am and our appointment was at 8:45

We waited in line for 15 minutes and where allowed to bring my mother in law who asked us if she can be there for us for moral help.

we got to the 8th floor and turned in our interview letter, 25 minutes later we where called by Peter (IO) he guided us to his office and swore us in before sitting down.

IO first asked for our ID's and went to make copies, came back and asked for current passport and last entry proof. (I had 2 entries with Advance Paroles so I asked him if he needed both of my passports and he said "I only need your last entry") He started typing and kept saying "whats wrong why is this comp being so slow?"

Hubby and I looked at each other thinking he was looking at my EWI but no he look us and asked for joint accounts and said "You guys have more than enough" (we smiled to eachother) he typed again and kept making faces to his computer 2 minutes later asked for any photos and we handed out two albums full all the trips to all the states. IO said " Someone was in Hawaii..." and he smiled... I replied and said we love to travel. He barely looked trough the pages went back to his comp. and kept making faces while typing (at this time to us it was kind of funny) so he printed one page and put it away... then printed 2 other pages and signed both of them and while signing with his left hand he said you been approved and will receive letter soon max 90 days and also explained the removal of conditions. so I took a breath and told him, I would like to make a request for an emergent travel, My mother is ill and have to travel as soon as possible. IO stared at me like he was concerned about my request and asked if I had my mothers letter, Doctors prescription and an airplane ticked so I said yes, yes and yes.... He said he would try and to wait outside in the waiting room .

We waited for about 7 minutes and he appeared with a big smile and said you have been approved and can now travel ASAP.

I just can't believe how simple it was. we went shopping and also had lunch and at 2:17 pm we both received 2 texts to check update on line and there it was both I-130 and I-485 was approved!

I wish you all get approved soon.

God bless you!

In our opinion we did not hire a lawyer because I don't have any criminal records...

Thank you Lord

Congratulations! I'm also in LA, so I love to read some positive experiences!

I read lots of experiences and also believed most of them are very positive...

visited this office at least 7 times in the past yr and every time they are nice to you and say nice complements. some even go out of there way to help. the IO went and got me my stamp when others are humiliated at other local offices when their IO sends them to get one...

So happy... Good luck and thank you

Congrats!

Thank you :)

Wow.. that was easy. You most of put a lot of time on your knees for the process to have come out so fast. God is was good to you guys. Unfortunately, for me, I have spent over 10k dollars just to do a K-1 and a waiver. So you folks had it easy. Best of luck.

Yes praying with faith is the key. and when you ask ask in abundance because that's what the bible says (something like that. :)"Thank you and sorry for all the trouble you've gone through.

Yes even my eyes where burning from reading so much but WE where also requested over 10k and just decide to do it ourselves...

Just wanted to add that at POE was no trouble using the stamp. they ask common questions and just have to verify stamp every time they request it...

Best of luck everyone...
