Hi everyone. Today was my oath ceremony at 8 am at Atlanta office. I arrived at 7:30 am. I went to the second floor, and my husband an friends were waiting on the third floor, until the candidates were accommodated in our seats. I had to return my green card with the letter for the ceremony. The ceremony took 30 minutes, was very sentimental. Now I can say : I am an American citizen. Thank you for your help in this journey.

Did you have the oath at the Tucker location or the Morrow location?

Also did you receive your oath appt in the mail or did they give it to you after you passed the interview?

Hi Nimaan, my oath ceremony was in the office located at 2150 Parklake Dr NE. They gave me the letter after I passed my interview, the same day, just I had to wait two hours on the second floor.

Oath ceremony today. All done. Yay!

Next steps: register to vote, update the SSA records, then passport application.

Once the passport and certificate arrive, then I'm DONE done!

Hi Nimaan, my oath ceremony was in the office located at 2150 Parklake Dr NE. They gave me the letter after I passed my interview, the same day, just I had to wait two hours on the second floor.

Congrats heat death for your oath ceremony. I didn't have the oath ceremony the same day. I got the letter for the ceremony the same day, my oath ceremony was 3 weeks later.

I sent my request with my certificate of naturalization four weeks ago, I called yesterday to the department of state, and they told me that I must get my passport in the mail in the next days, but they will send me my certificate two weeks later. It is so slow. I'm glad I did it fast.
