It's to see things are moving along. My RFE letter states that will have to shoe a "Good Faith Marriage" spanning from the time we got married until now. The issue is most of the bills are in my name (since my wife hasn't really established her credit yet). I was thinking about sending these things as additional evidence

- Ultrasound, medical docs (my wife is currently pregnant)

- We just bought a house. The mortgage is my name, but I will need to get the title/deed in her name as well because they want to see that we are residing together.

-I will send them our home insurance policy with both our names on it as well as car insurance.

-We have a new savings account with our name on it (although I have already sent them info on 2 of our checking accounts)

-Our most recent tax return transcript (I already sent them 2010-2011)

-I will need to add her name to a utility bill (I guess the phone bill is not enough).

If you think of anything else, let me know. Thanks

• Copy of the passport and green card of (spouse).

• Two sworn affidavits by U.S. citizen friend and Dominican resident, attesting to our relationship and marriage.

• Copies of Bank Account statements (PNC & Wells Fargo)

• Copies of U.S. Tax returns (2010 & 2011)

• Letter from my company of the designation of my life insurance (incl spouse).

• Copy of our health insurance cards showing a joint policy.

• A copy of our airline reservations from vacations (Jamaica –April 2012 & Dominican Republic 2012)

• Copies of Joint Pennsylvania ID cards showing same home address

• Copies of Joint Medical Insurance & Prescription Cards

• Copies of Birthday, Anniversary, and Holiday Cards

• Copy of the passport and green card of (spouse).

• Two sworn affidavits by U.S. citizen friend and Dominican resident, attesting to our relationship and marriage.

• Copies of Bank Account statements (PNC & Wells Fargo)

• Copies of U.S. Tax returns (2010 & 2011)

• Letter from my company of the designation of my life insurance (incl spouse).

• Copy of our health insurance cards showing a joint policy.

• A copy of our airline reservations from vacations (Jamaica –April 2012 & Dominican Republic 2012)

• Copies of Joint Pennsylvania ID cards showing same home address

• Copies of Joint Medical Insurance & Prescription Cards

• Copies of Birthday, Anniversary, and Holiday Cards

• Pictures of time spent together over past 2 years (vacations, family time, everyday life)

• Copy of Phone bills (Vonage & Cricket) showing same account and address

• Copies of Renter’s Insurance showing proof of home address

• Various other items proving validity of relationship

It's impossible for me to say anything for sure about the package you sent without actually seeing it, but I've noticed one thing that trips people up on ROC in general is not sending evidence that spans the entire duration of your marriage. They might only have old evidence or only new evidence, both of which would lead USCIS to wonder if the marriage continued in good faith. Here are some examples of what I mean using evidence you have already sent:

- Bank statements - Many people recommend to send one statement for every quarter (every three months) for the entire period of your marriage.

- Phone bills/utility - Similar to the above. If I were you, I'd send one for every quarter, if you can, or at least try to send a few spanning your entire marriage. For the record, we don't have any utility or phone bills in both of our names - I think all of them are in my name. Lots of people don't send any of these types of things at all, but if you have them, then great!

- Renter's insurance/auto insurance - You have to renew your coverage yearly, so send a copy of your documents/insurance card from each time you renewed.

- Rental agreement - You also probably have to renew your lease yearly, so send a copy of the lease from each year. We sent three lease agreements total, so USCIS could see we got our own place shortly before we got married and then continued to live together under contract with our landlord through the present.

- The same general advice goes for holiday cards/birthday cards/letters, etc. Don't just sent the oldest or the newest examples, but send a nice range. If you saved the envelopes, send copies of the envelopes, too, especially if they are addressed to both of you. Also, they'll probably have a postmark with a date.

Here are some other items I can think of:

- As far as your vacations go, did you save any of the boarding passes as further proof that you traveled together? If you traveled abroad, you could also show passport stamps as hard evidence.

- Have you both been to the doctor or dentist? You may show your bills from those visits or EOBs (explanation of benefits) from your insurance company. These documents will usually show names and addresses. We sent a few EOBs for both me and my husband to show we both use the insurance and also as further proof of our shared residence. Again, send documents from throughout the marriage period.

- Do either of you have a 401(k) or retirment plan? If the other person is designated as a beneficiary to that plan, then that's great evidence. The same goes for life insurance or a will, if either of you have that stuff. If this kind of stuff is offered through your employer, check with your HR department.

- Are you joint owners on a car title, or perhaps have loan documents from purchasing a car? If not a car, any other major purchases that required a joint loan?

11/22/12 = Filed I-751 to remove conditions

11/30/12 = Got NOA1 (I-797C)

12/23/12 = Got the bio-metrics done (USCIS Status: Pending)
