You age difference is not illegal but it causes the embassy to wonder about the reason you love her. In most places men are expected to have children to carry the family name. So when a young man marries an older USC they look extra hard to make sure it is love and that you will stay together. Any age difference over 20 years will be very very hard to convince them that you will stay with a woman and not be leaving for someone younger, of child bearing age. They look for things that are against the cultural norm as fraud indicators. If you have too many it causes them to doubt your relationship.

i did like 2 interview the first one was great and the consul belived me he even said congratulation for me the second one was in jun 10 the consul was young girl she was nice at first then started to talk about age gap and she said we deal with alot of people during the week like u idont belive the relation and i think its just for the citizen ship the case will back we contacted the senator immideatly but the problem was the time diffrence so they didnt call just sent letter after like month the embassy answer the sentor letter say that the case back to the nvc at jun 27 and the reason some thing call bonafida marrige thats what my wife told me now what we have to do about that and what is bonafida marrige and what we r waiting now is any one have time frame or any ideas about that..i think egypt embassy have problem with those who have age diffrence and thats not ligal .thank u

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

It has been returned to be reviewed by yet another official. They will either reaffirm the petition without contact or send you a NOID ( notice of intent to deny) which will give you 30 days to respond with reasons why their reasons are wrong. You shouldn't wait , pretend like you know the NOID is coming and gather things that proves the strength of your relationship and have it a response ( rebuttal ) ready in case a NOID actually does arrive. If you are lucky you won't need it.

I am protesting...I want this issue pinned! :protest:

Petitions Returned to the United States

More and more this is how Morocco is handling visa petitions, and it does not matter the amount of proof of relationship you provide. We need a central place to review/share extremely important information to help ourselves and others going through this issue. Possibly even prevent this from happening to others in the future.

I will gladly create a legible, credible, and searchable compilation of all immigration guidelines surrounding petition return/revocation, research, etc. if VJ would commit to pinning this issue for us. Even if it is only in the ME/NA forum...PIN IT PLEASE?????

Our K-1 was sent back for "further review" But upon it beinging received in the states I received a letter stating our case had been closed because the dates expired and we were more than welcome to file again :0/

Unless it says denied a 221 (g) is for additional processing. Is this what it looks like? http://www.***removed***/visas/221grefusal/221g-blue-sample-form-chennai.pdf Seems that it's just used if additional information is needed.
