How to assemble the package

I was trying to figure out how to assemble the N-400 package (I know, I just filed for ROC 5 days ago, but hey, time flies plus I need to know if I need to start saving plane tickets, receipts, etc.). If I read the instructions correctly, to apply based on a 3-year marriage to a USC, the only evidence you need to send is a copy of the USC spouse's passport (picture and signature page only), and the tax transcripts referred to the past 3 years. That's it? No boarding passes, pictures with relatives, etc? Thank you for your replies.

I didn't see you mention the marriage certificate (with translation). Also, it asks for "Documents referring to you and your spouse" and has a three-item list (a), (b), and ©. The conjunction is "or" but we chose to submit both (a) and (b) items. In addition to the IRS tax transcripts, we threw in a couple of bank statements, a copy of our lease, car title and registration, copies of our driver's licenses, and our daughter's birth certificate and passport page. No photos; no boarding passes, but I sure kept some of each and had them in our package for the interview. (They didn't ask for anything additional at the interview.) After being a member on VisaJourney for almost 5 years, I've seen plenty of reasons to be cautious. You never know when USCIS is going to run off the rails.

yeah sorry I figured that I had to send our marriage certificate (why translated? did you get married outside of the US?), as well as a copy of my green card. I was talking about the evidence of a bonafide marriage: I didn't see any reference to proving that we have an ongoing marriage, such as affidavits, pictures, boarding passes, joint credit cards, and the like. Apparently you just need to send in the tax transcripts. I concur with you that, knowing the process, it's better to provide more rather than less documents, however it seems like the transcripts would suffice.

We just sent the last 3 years of tax transcripts. What I've read that some people do (and what we will probably do) is take extra evidence (from the year since ROC) to the N400 interview to just have it there in case they ask for it.
