Hello

Here is short guide how to find tracking number from NVC to US embassy.

First you will need find out from NVC on what date your case was forwarded to embassy.

Note: you might need subtract one day.

when you know from AVR that your case was forward to embassy

Use this link --> http://www.dhl.com/en/express/tracking/shippers_reference.html

or go to www.dhl.com

1.) In middle row under "Track Your Shipment", find "More Tracking Options" and click on it. (The web page might be different if this post is old)

2.) On left side in menu find "Track by Shipper's Reference" and click on it.

Now you will have to fill out the form

Use your date that was forwarded from embassy from NVC.

Example: Your date was 3 July 2012

Note: you might need subtract one day.

1.) In Shipper´s Reference write EXP DD MMMYYYYA (DD-2 digit day, MMM-3 letters month, YYYY-4 digit year) This is current format from July 2012.

Example: EXP 03 JUL2012A

Note: The format might change overtime. They might remove/add spaces. Like it might be EXP DD MMMYYYYA, EXPDDMMMYYYYA, EXP DDMMMYYYYA, EXP DDMMM YYYYA...etc so if it does not come up with any information when you do not use country from drop-down menu try play with formatting by removing/adding spaces.

2.) Date range for shipment - From: DD-MM-YYYY (DD-2 digit day, MM-2 digit month, YYYY-4 digit year)

Example: 01-07-2012

3.) Date range for shipment - To: DD-MM-YYYY (DD-2 digit day, MM-2 digit month, YYYY-4 digit year)

Example: 13-07-2012

4.) Account Number - Leave this blank

5.) Shipment Destination: Choose your Country

Example: Canada

I hope this will help for some one to track the papers. Sorry for a lot of repeats just would like to make sure that some one will not miss important step. If this did not help try different format in Shipper´s Reference by removing/adding spaces.

Good luck.
