K1 - three weeks since NOA2, NVC still has not received my petition

It has been 3 weeks since I received my NOA2 (6/4/12) from VSC and NVC still has not received my petition.

Is this normal? Should I try to contact VSC regarding this?

NVC rep told me they don't have it on file (data?) which I believe means they haven't received it from VSC yet.

This K1 process has been delay after delay...

Doesn't your NOA2 expire after 4 months?

It is written on my NOA2 that it is valid for 4 months.

Doesn't this mean the interview has to take place within that 4 months?

The mid-may cali petitions were sent to NRC by mistake. There are several threads about this, surprised there is not more noise though. Apparently cali wants them back to re-review and put everything back in order. As far as vermont, i got noa2 on June 5th. They received on 19th and forwarded to consulate on 20th. Already have hard copy. good luck all!! Feeling a bit lucky now.

Funny, I've been thinking about that myself, so I asked about that on "today's" phone session (I call daily now). I mentioned they have already used up almost half my time left to get this Visa done. The guy on the phone from NVC said "no problem getting an extention, it will show the date we entered the case...." Somehow, knowing that doesn't make me feel any better.....:angry:

I called NVC again yesterday and they told me to email them a scanned copy of my NOA2.

They gave me this option once the "15 business days" has passed.

The rep also told me they should of definitely received it by now and they'll now be

actively seeking my petition since the 15 business days has passed.

Our NOA2 is 30th May and still waiting. We sent an email to nvcresearch twice already and let me show you what kind of result you can expect from their "actively seeking our petition"

This is the response we got from nvcresearch.

Dear Sir/Madam:

The National Visa Center (
NVC
) has not yet received this petition from

U.S. Citizenship Immigration Service (USCIS). Please allow more time

for your petition to be received at the
NVC
.

Sincerely,

Jess

Needless to say, the sheer level of incompetence and inefficiency at these government agencies are breathtaking.

Perhaps we need to contact USCIS?

I'm starting get appalled by these government processes.

This is 2012, we should not have to contact them multiple times

and it should not take over a month for some files to go from point A to point B...

Especially if you already waited for months and months for the approval.

If my company had these type of processes they would of been out of business a long time ago.
