Just got an RFE and among other things it states the intent to marry. We each submitted the form letter as indicated on this site. His copy was scanned to me...could that be the reason they want new copies? I'm confused about this. Or did they lose this?

If it was scanned, that means the version you submitted didn't have his real signature on it in ink. You would have to submit a new, non-scanned version with his signature.

LeftCoastLady is correct. The Intent letter can be scanned but requires a Original Signature. Thats what the RFE is...

maybe because is scanned but in my case i send th eoriginal both and they asked again for that sooo sometimes they do lose things cuz i send the same one and there was no problem.
