Hey everyone!

Just a couple of quick questions. My father is being our co sponsor for our K1 and although he makes enough hourly to qualify to be sponsor, he also gets paid double his hourly for over time. The thing is, over time is not a set amount of time. In regards to the employment letter, what should be listed as a salary? How could overtime even be included when it varies week to week? Also, how many tax receipts are required? Anyone have an offical link to this stuff?

Thanks!

Have you considered self sponsoring?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Does his 2011 tax return/W2 show enough? Use that. How about recent pay stubs that might even show year to date and reflect overtime?

One tax return with W2 copy is enough. Link to what London has to say http://london.usembassy.gov/faffidavit.html
