My husband and I got a similar checklist, we didn't think we needed to send proof of current income for the same reasons - he didn't make enough and we had a joint sponsor. We sent a letter from one of his clients as well as a paystub from our joint sponsor (they didn't request it but just incase) and a letter explaining why we couldn't provide them with one other thing they had asked for. We did not send in a new I864 and all was accepted no problem.

Thanks for that....I will send an employment letter from my employer abroad, and hopefully that will be enough.

I dont have W2s because I made foreign income too. Is this problem? I haven't submitted my docs yet.

I don't know!! I didn't think it was, but apparently it is. I think I am going to write to the NVC trying to explain the situation. Unless Saylin has any suggestions.....?

I called NVC and asked if they have processed an email from my wife with DS-3032 form and here's what I got in response: "NVC does not accept an email sent without attached scanned .pdf file for DS-3032 form signed by beneficiary. Since you sent only a plain email without any attachment, NVC won't accept it."

I used the template provided here on VJ.

What should I do now? Should I just sit and wait for NVC to respond with an acceptance or rejection of DS-3032 email sent out last week? Or should I re-send DS-3032 with attached in email and signed by my wife?

Is that true? I am in the same shoes

I am shocked rightnow. Because I called them twice in last week since I sent my DS-3032 form and they kept saying to wait for few more days until today. I got a female operator who was rude and said she has never seen NVC to accept a choice of agent sent via plain email without filled pdf file attachment with beneficiary's sign in it. Otherwise NVC will just bypass the email.

I am not sure if I should rely on this words or not, but I am kinda confused now and need some advice on next steps :help:

Should be fine. Technically you don't even need translations since your certificates are in Spanish, but it's recommended. The same people who recommend translations also recommend a signed statement by the translator saying that they are compitent to translate the documents from Spanish to English
