Operator at NVC Gave Me a WRONG Case Number

By BIT in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports

Last night the operator told that my case number was NETXXXXXXXXXX when in reality it was MEP and not NET I have now recieved this nice EMAIL that I could be in AP

and YES I did double ckeck with him last night

The National Visa Center (NVC) received your correspondence.

The correct case number is listed below.

This petition is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. You will be notified with further instructions when the processing is complete.

I just called and gave my email adress and my wifes email and the lady reassured me everything was OK and that she had no record of them sending anything out, she restated that I do not need to do anything else and just wait for the normal email to arrive though my email address and hers
