Same happened to us ( not the RFE but never getting the tax transcript )

You need to request it again. The second time we requested it, the papers arrived in a week. Or you can go to your local office and pick them up in person.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Picking it up in person is of course the best option.

I just printed what I mailed to the IRS and brought the second copy to the interview with me...of course i didn't get an RFE for it, this was just bringing the most current year because I didn't have to file by the time I sent the app originally...

Anyways, I digress and would simply suggest that you go pick it up.

Are original tax transcripts required? Or can they be faxes?

I work for a firm where we have to call the IRS all the time. If you are near a fax they will fax it immediately. You just need to say you need them urgently for your records....
