Change of address between NOA1 and NOA2

Hi all,

I've searched this lovely site, but have gotten some conflicting info:

I need to change the address of the beneficiary. We are between NOA1 and NOA2 (hopefully June-ish blush.gif).

I see that I can submit online an address change, and also submit the AR-11 form, however that form reads as if the bene is in the country (the US) changing their address, when he, of course, isn't here yet.

So my question is, what do I need to do at this stage to get his address corrected. Mine shall remain the same throughout the process. headbonk.gif

Thanks in advance! star_smile.gif

Thanks StarGirl,

I just don't want him to miss anything, but I guess they no longer mail out a package 3, the only thing they would mail would be the final visa. blink.gif

what did you end up doing?

I need to change my fiancee's (she is the beneficiary) address but i can't find specific information anywhere... the closest thing i found was telling me to file an AR-11 for my beneficiary... and one for myself... but that form makes no sense. it doesn't seem to want to accept questions for either a US citizen (i'm actually moving as well within California) and asks questions that are irrelevant to my fiancee (she's moving within Russia).

anyway, i'm just confused.... both fiancee and myself need to notify the USCIS about our address change and we're awaiting NOA2 (which shouldn't be coming for another 2-3 months).

just call USCIS and tell them you need to change the beneficiary's address. they'll change it and send you a form that tells you the address was changed in their system. that's what i did.

i have decided to:

1. fill out the AR-11 online for myself. i have received a response from USCIS.

2. fill out the AR-11 for my fiancee and mail it.

3. resubmit a duplicate copy of my i-129f with corrected address to CSC that sent me my NOA1. this mail included an I-865 from me (though i never submitted a I-864 and had no legal obligation to even file a I-865), and also a copy of the AR-11 for my fiancee, and also a letter explaining why i sent this new "packet".

OH! and i'm going to phone them next week :)
