Did you ever get NOA1? I ask because it has the receipt number in which you use to track the progress on the USCIS website. If USCIS is having problems with the network, nobody here can help you on that matter. Apparently, it isn't very reliable anyway. If you have NOA1, you can check given that the system is working. If your fiancee called them, and they said they have your case, then they have your case. It has only been two months since it was filed, and it is quite normal not to hear anything about it until it is either approved, denied, or in need of RFE. This comes in around 5-7 months so you have 3-5 months before you should be worrying about anything as long as USCIS says they have your petition.

You are not going to get any further information. You get a receipt and wait. And wait.

FWIW my wife is a citizen and the "tracking system" for the I-129f shows she is still in initial review.

If you ask for the receipt number (Starting WAC or EAC) they might know what you mean. They should have sent you an I-797C or Notice of Action, what we refer to as NOA1 which would contain the receipt number. This will help you a little more in the future as you will need the second I-797C or Notice of Action, what we refer to as NOA2 when it comes to your fiancee entering the US and applying for Adjustment of Status after you marry. You want to be sure that you receive that one!

If she received an RFE she should submit the needed documents. The doctor's letter is not going to have an impact on the process.

You shouldn' worry about the K1 process if you submit all the papers everything will be ok. It takes time but not so much if you stop obsessing about it.

Everyone going through the process hurts to be away from their love but that's the way it is, unfortunately. Obsessing over it won't make it go faster..(and I know something about obsessing  )

I am sorry you have to go through this when a baby was involved. I don't know what to tell you to make you feel better, but that in my opinion things happen for a reason.

You seem to believe in God, so maybe if I tell you that sometimes a soul doesnt want to be born thats how miscarriages happen...this soul is probably at peace now and your fiancé and you will have other occasions to be parents.

Never doubt on that, stay positive and tell her maybe she should see a shrink to get help. Losing a child is not an easy process and it is important to have psychological support.

Stay strong, much positive thoughts and love to both of you. (F)

First of all, I'm sorry for your loss.

Second, STOP STRESSING! You haven't filled in your timeline yet, but from what I see, you guys just filed your papers in late February. You still have many months to wait. You should start getting excite around July. This process takes time. It doesn't mean anything is wrong.

If you did get an RFE, then send in whatever they have requested from you. And then be prepared to wait again.

Good luck and have patience. As the saying goes, "hurry up and wait!".

Though they told her stuffs to send when she called,ws that a RFE too?

An RFE is a request For Evidence. You receive a letter in the mail asking you for something needed for your case. I don't know what happened on the phone when she called? I've never heard of being asked for anything over the phone.

Sorry for your loss. I'm not clear on your timeline or why they would ask for her to send tax information over the phone. Your timeline reads that you sent out your petition 02-29-12, but you received NOA1 on 05-07-12?
