Was wondering, how long does it take NVC to switch to Electronic Processing?

they've been doing it in 1 to 2 days recently

but

is still some big lag to get the ds-3032 out of the opt in email, added to the electronic version of the casefile, and the IV fee bill invoiced.

OPT IN only after you receive the AOS fee bill, else you get into a dark hole of lag.

NO AOS FEE BILL, you say? Call into NVC, ask that they send you one, via email.

I called NVC and they said it takes 2 weeks to respond to an opt-in request. I am seeing everybody's timeline as 1-3 days...so why would NVC quote 2 weeks?!

Of course, I call them and check my email...OPTIN request processed! Took less than 12 hours..

ya, the final bit on OPT IN, though - is the detaching of the DS-3032 into the casefile. That takes time

watch the online payment portal, trying logging in on both casefile #'s (GUZ/GZO) and see what's what.

Eventually, all is rehomed to the GZO number.

They're really fast now, processing my DS-3032 took about 5 days, but it looks like you're using a lawyer so you won't have to wait.

Yeah, I do have a lawyer but I find that they are pretty useless. So many mistakes and no answers to my questions. I find this forum 100 times more informative than the help I am getting from them. And I am paying them!

I logged in around noon, payment was marked as paid so I sent both the DS230 and 864 packets. I called NVC at 11pm and they said they do not give confirmation of receipt so they told me to check back in a month!

you paid both IV and AOS ?

the surprise I was mentioning -

if the G-28 was filed,

the AOS fee bill and the IV fee bill show up at the same time, about 3 to 4 days after the case # is assigned.

if you paid both fees, then you did the right thing with sending in all of the EP sets (I-864, DS-230).

if it was just the AOS fee, then you'll need to pay the IV fee, and resend the ds-230 set later...

I paid both and they both appeared as "Paid." Weird thing...the money didn't show up as withdrawn from my bank account until this morning!!

Hello Dware, how did you get your case number? did u call to receive it or was it sent by mail? We have same dates for NOA2, But i don't have a case number yet.

I called twice a day. Morning and night. I never received anything in the mail yet. They are open 15 more minutes. Call soon and good luck! They can at least tell you if the received the case from uscis.
