VSC Updated their processing times page, and it's not pretty

This doesn't fill me with confidence, but today the USCIS page updated VSC processing times.

I-129F's show as 8.9 months, and the detailed page now shows.... *gulp* 14 June 2011 as the current processing date....

LOTS of other petitions now show as MUCH longer wait times.... what the heck happened!

I can't believe how many of these form times have magically had up to 6 months added to their processing times in a month! I know I'm on a K1 and butthurt at the extra wait but looking at this page, EVERYTHING has been pushed back!

This only means they are taking longer than expected. This was taken from the top of the page showing processing times.

If the office is processing a particular type of application in less time than our processing goal, you will see the processing times expressed in months (for example, if the office is processing naturalization applications in less than our 5 month goal, the processing time will state "Five Months"). However, if that office is taking longer than our processing goal to handle the form type in question, you will see the filing date (e.g., "April 10, 2003") of the last case we processed on the date the website chart was last updated. The charts are updated on or about the 15th day of each month.

However, look at the timelines on this site. They have already processed applications from the beginning of December 2011; 6 months after the date of June 14, 2011. They may take a little longer than 5 months but as of the past two weeks it has been increasing slightly. Just that there are no approvals on 4/20 and only 4/19 makes me wonder if the VSC all of the sudden slowed down on I-129F or just no updates from members on here.

Yup, does look like a slowdown sure, but what's weird is how it's suddenly happened and seems to have suddenly affected all of them.

I'm more inclined to think the 5/6 month goal is right, but it's quite a shock to see 9 months on the processing page after it showing at 5 for so long

This is bad news ! Got my NOA1 on January 17th so with their new delay of 8,7 months the waiting brings me to no less than next September or later for NOA2 !! That does not include the 2-4 months to get an interview at the Montreal consulate !!!! I knew the waiting game would be excrutiating but almost 4 months more than expected is just really depressing....

16 Jan 2013: EAD & AP approved

As far as I understand it, yes. You would need to wait 8.9 months, plus 30 days before they would raise a service request for you

i just called uscis and they said the normal processing time for i130 usc petitioning spouse is 5 months.

01/26/12 - NOA1 received and processing at Vermont.

06/28/12 - NOA2 announced on status check.

06/29/12 - NVC received case learned on 07/2/12.

06/30/12 - Hard copy NOA2 received.

07/09/12 - NVC Casefile Number and IIN Issued.

07/16/12 - Receive and Sent DS-3032 via email.

07/17/12 - Mailed DS-3032 via mail, AOS bill received via email, paid online, Optin email sent.

07/18/12 - Optin accepted and new case number, AOS marked paid, emailed AOS packet.

07/24/12 - Assigned as Agent, IV Fee bill received via email, paid online.

07/25/12 - IV Fee marked paid, emailed IV packet.

There must be something wrong with this latest update. I am in F2A category (permanent resident filing for spouse), and the processing date just jumped from 9 January 2011 to 4 September 2011. Our priority date is 8 August 2011, and we certainly haven't been approved yet, and neither has anyone else I know with priority date after February 2011. I wonder if they got the dates mixed up.

My F2A/IR-1 journey:

USCIS:
4 August 2011: I-130 sent (while husband permanent resident)
8 August 2011: Priority date
16 April 2013: NOA2

NVC:

7 May 2013: Case number received, DS-3032 sent

15 May 2013: AOS bill received and paid

16 May 2013: AOS package sent

17 May 2013: DS-3032 accepted

20 May 2013: IV bill received and paid

21 May 2013: IV package sent

11 June 2013: response to IV checklist sent

13 June 2013: Case upgraded to CR1

2 July 2013: Case completed

28 August 2013: Interview - approved!

21 September 2013: POE

18 November 2013: Green card received
