Does anybody here know a useful travel agency or valid promo codes for me to secure cheaper flights between Cebu and Cagayan de Oro?

I am looking at traveling with four other family members between April and May.

How safe are the airlines in the PH nowadays?

When I was still in the PH, I only flew with PAL several times.

Is it safer to just take a ship from Cebu to CDO and back? The thing is, flying one-way in that route is only 45 minutes while sea travel runs for 9-12 hours.

I check on cebupacific they had promo 888 Manila to CDO,plus the taxes/vat and 15kg bagage

allow.cost 3,461.92 for round trip.for the month of May 28 to 30.If you are in hurry i guess take the plane if not take Ship Superferry.

weather now adays in Philippines pretty hot,sometimes is unpredictable you can't really tell.hope this help... goodluck!

July 30'12 received mail NOA1(AOS/EAD/AP)

Aug.22'12 Biometrics done(Detroit,MI)

Sept.19 USCIS mailed a noticed they approved my Travel Docs.

Sept.20 EAD card on production(approved in 60 days!)

Sept.25 USPS pick up mail from USCIS(EAD card on the way!)

Sept.27 EAD card received.

Sept 28 went to SSOffice for name change on SSN card.

Oct 05'12 Got my new SSN card.

April 16'13 USCIS emailed Case Status:Card/Document Production.

April 20'13 Recieved mail from USCIS welcome notice.

April 22'13 USCIS email that USPS picked up mail containing my GC.

April 25'13 Green Card on hand,finally!...

I can promise you airline are much safer than the "Banana Boat" ships ya'll have here.

I am pretty sure if u go thru a travel agency it will be more expensive than booking direct, and do travel agency still exist.

For me I just go online and check AirPhil or PAL or Cebu Pacific and find the best deal and book. Most promos are con also. Once you book they add all this BullChit like fuel surcharge, Tax, Misc charges, etc and the price is about d same as getting a non promo flight

Yes, the airlines in the Philippines are safe. Gosh going through security at the airports is bad, got to have a valid id WITH a reciept showing your date and times for flights. I have flew into cdo before and it is a small but good airport. Nothing like Manila or Davao, but still pleasantly small and nice. Plus I am a White American and I felt no problems or safety issues. But do know the airport is way away from the city proper of CDO.
