I have not had this call drop issue with other calls but the location where i'm calling could be the issue also. hmmmm..

In anycase, just spoke to an operator and a supervisor i think.

Looks like my Checklist for I-864 is due to not including 2011 income in the #25. What i had in I-864 #25 was 2010, 2009, and 2008. Didn't include 2011 because Transcript from IRS is not available now since i recently file the 2011 tax. They said i don't need the TRANSCRIPT! and since I included a copy 2011 1040x, i was to use that in the I-864 #25. So it would 2011, 2010, and 2009 total income in #25 in I-864. For 2011, since there isn't a Total income as there would be in IRS transcript, I was told to include the gross income amount or amount from W2, which both are same, except in 1040x, it is rounded.

*Sigh :( :( :(

You wouldn't have had the checklist if you would have left the 2011 tax return out. Because you sent it, you should have filled in '09, '10 & '11 tax info.

They prefer transcripts to the actual tax return, since you already sent it, redo your I-864 with the correct information and re-submit it. The delay sucks, and makes one even more miserable because it was a simple mistake.

When filling out tax forms you are supposed to round to the nearest whole dollar amount, per the form's instructions.

Taking a deep breath............

1) Yes, i should have left out the 2011 return. But i posted my list here before i mailed it in and everyone seems to be fine with it, so i thought i was good to go. Sigh :crying:

2) Also regarding, rounding up. Where does it say in the instruction. I spoke to an Operator last night and she said, it has to match PENNY TO PENNY ! meaning no rounding!

WOW.....Everyone is saying different things. :crying: :crying:

3) I guess i have to wait for the Checklist email, as it will have directions i need to follow to re-submit the I-864 :bonk: :bonk: :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

4) at least now i know what the checklist was about, and after Email from NVC, i'll know for sure. GOD, i just want to get this over with :o :o :o

You have to keep in mind, you're not paying anyone here to validate EVERYTHING is right. There's members here giving their time to help others as much as they can. Just because no one caught it, doesn't mean your package was 100% perfect. You should always do your OWN research and make sure your OWN package is right. VJ members can help you to a degree, but don't ever solely rely on this website for your immigration process.

TGV, I guess? I lived in Mulhouse for a while so I'm kinda familiar with the west side.

Trust me, everything will be PERFECT. My wife is stressed as well, thinking that something will go wrong. I'm glad you're relaxed now, keep that pant dry!

Yeah TGV, and I suppose you know how expensive it is

Our joint sponsor didn t include 2011 tax in the document she sends to my wife house as she has not filed her 2011 yet but she gave employment letter and 2008, 2009, 2011 tax return transcripts. We called this morning and NVC says that we will get a checklist if my joint sponsorr do not submit 2011, but my wife did. Should I rely on what tht the operator says? We mailed AOS today.

We just got a checklist for the IV fee. unsure.gifunsure.gifunsure.gif What's funnier is that the payment portal shows PAID wacko.gifwacko.gifwacko.gifwacko.gif

The message reads as below:

INSTRUCTIONS FOR: xxx, xxxxx

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

______FEE PAYMENT:_________________________________________________

We are still waiting for the Immigrant Visa fee payment(s). Please submit the fee payment(s) according

to the instructions on the IV fee bill sent to you from NVC. DO NOT SEND FEE PAYMENTS TO

THE NVC NEW HAMPSHIRE FACILITY. THIS WILL DELAY PROCESSING OF THE VISA. If

you have not received an IV fee bill, please contact NVC. Do not pay the fees unless you have the

accompanying IV fee bill as this will result in a delay in processing your case.

I'm guessing the checklist is merely the IV bill. As for the DS-230, I don't think it really matters. That said, waiting for others comments on the same.
