If this is truly the case with these votes and positions, than why do the Dems despise him so much? It can't be the moral and ethical things...Bill Clinton & JFK as 2 example's of revered Democrats, who were also adulterers.

John Stewart did a video montage the other night of the Newt speaking about the sanctity of marriage, traditional marriage, etc. over the years as a public figure. The focus on his adulteress ways isn't so much about the morality of it, but showing that what the man says and what he does are two different things. He's against gay marriage on moral grounds while apparently in favor of an open marriage.

I personally find them a blight on the landscape. A once beautiful scenery marred.
