some of you here are pretty convinced about the fact that only California and Vermont Service Centers process the application... I actually found something about Texas Service Center processing the applications too, so my question is, is that true?! Cause if it is that means mine will be processed there and it looks pretty good:

People think Dallas lockbox is TSC - it is not.

People think that because they sent their petition to Dallas lockbox they are processed at TSC - they are not.

I know your not but a heck of a lot of members on VJ think that it is TSC and put that down for their timelines on here so it shows up on VJ.

Have you looked at NSC? Nebraska service center? they don't process K-1 visas either yet it has that on their website.

well in Nebraska it stopped on 2008 date and in Texas they still say 5 months that's what confused me I guess

And people who put TSC in their timeline have some wrong NOA2 estimation dates, because they are really either in CSC or VSC. So "TSC estimations" are just a mix of CSC and VSC!

Also, I think there's an explanation of why so many people on VJ put TSC as their Service Center. On the editing timeline page, this is written:

"Service Center:

List ORIGINAL filing location; even if

petition transferred

for K-1 Applicants where you filed your I-129F

for K-3, IR-1, and CR-1 Applicants where your

I-130 was processed (if filed at the Chicago Lockbox

they will transfer the petition to the correct Service

Center and mail you a notice stating where it was sent)"

While it's well explained for K-3, CR-1/IR-1, it is very confusing for K-1. I think it should be written "for K-1 Applicants where your I-129F was processed (if filed at the Texas Lockbox they will transfer the petition to the correct Service

Maybe in the past, people sent directly their petition to CSC/VSC/TSC/NSC?

So it's my understanding that the Dallas lockbox sends it to Vermont or California based on where you live. Is there a map or something that shows the dividing line? I'm pretty sure mine will go to Vermonth, but I'd like to be sure. How could I find this out?

(I haven't sent my i-129f yet.)

I imagine that it follows the same pattern as it does for the I-751, though I don't know that for sure

However be careful what you wish for. Last year when we were petitioning I-129f, Vermont was 2 months behind California (I was a Vermonter!). Who knows which will be faster by the time your petition is processed.

My guess based on what I see here is:

West Coast - California

East Coast - Vermont

Problems starts with states in the "middle earth"
