case tracking via DHL

do you guys know how to use the tracking system via DHL? I called and a nice lady told me that the case received on the 3rd of JAN and forwarded on the 4th.

I use EXP 03 JAN 2011A but still no luck finding it.

Im in the same boat. They told me they forwarded my case on Jan 4 but I cant track it either. I tried and checked diff dates alao but no luck.

I looked for both China and Bangledesh on and around those dates and there is nothing. Can you both call NVC right now and get another operator to tell you the date your file left NVC?

I called again with another operator, and its confirmed that it left nvc on the 4th. She also told me that its sent via DHL

First of all congratulations getting your petition approved and through NVC!

I would caution about watching DHL packages that may or may not contain your approved petition. By doing just that and not calling DOS to check the status updates we wasted about 30 days or more. I became fanatic about it and was watching several packages that left NVC on or around the date that mine was to have been sent. While I watched those packages sit in customs GUZ had received our petition and sent out package 3...to the wrong address. Before I knew it P3 had been sent out, returned to GUZ as "undeliverable" (Her apartment building had burned down) and was on its way to me in the US. One call to DOS would have saved us a bunch of time.

Again congratulations and start setting up you calling pattern. I suggest Tuesday and Thursday mornings

ya, forget about DHL. For casefiles headed to China, that Guangzhou IV post, it's a waste of time. Even if you think you find the tracking info? Guess What? is 65 percent chance it will stay in the China Customs Bonded Warehouse anywhere from 1 to 4 more months.

At this moment, you need other players - Specifically the NVC hotline and the DoS Hotline.

I second Operator's posit to call twice a week.
