Hi guys,

So I still haven't heard anything from the USCIS regarding my K1 fiancé visa.

My NOA1 was received August 9th, it is now January 3rd and I still haven't heard a word.

I hear I am able to contact after 5 months to check the processing of this application?

It was sent to the Texas Service Centre and forwarded to the California Service Centre after the NOA1

Please help... I'm going crazy!?!?!

I just got mine from Vermont 15 minutes ago. I showed up in my mailbox. I submitted my application on August 25th and it went to Vermont from Texas. California just seems to be a little more backed up. I bet you get yours in the next 2 weeks.

Remember, there are a lot of employees off during the holidays and parties. Yours will be released soon.

Sadly if you call them they will tell you to wait 30 days.

You are not alone. I just got off the phone with USCIS this morning to check on our K1. NOA1 was August 1, 2011 - sent to Texas, transferred to California, and nothing since. This morning they told me that even though it is over five months now, they are only processing the middle of June in California. They stated one would have to wait another 45 days before filing a service ticket...I would expect a NOA2 before then...

CSC is not on the monthly schedule, last I heard they are stating they are working on June 16th. Just have to sit back and wait, calling your Congressman won't even help as they will be told the same thing. :crying:

I would give our congressman's offce a call when it gets to the normal processing time....after Jan 9th....my local congressman community liaison was able to call the vsc 1 month after the 5 months mark and the next day i got approved....call it coincidence but something worked. saw many others that got the same result as well as some that didnt get any response from this inquiry ..... it wont hurt to try!

check out my timeline to see the steps i took....

All the best,

I wouldnt go say that ALL congressman inquiries are the same.....contacting some local offices has resulted in some vjers getting an approval in less than 48 hrs....

I plan to wait until Jan 9th and then call USCIS for an inquiry and my congressman as well! Best of luck to everyone. We all need it! God Help Us All.... :crying:
