September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

You can check the AVR and see if it has been updated (probably not, but you have nothing to loose). As for the taxes, they will not expect to see 2011 returns until after April 15th.

NVC will not contact you when they receive anything.

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

For crying out loud, I went through all of December without ANY steps forward at NVC. :wow:

03/27/12: interview at Paris embassy - APPROVED
04/12/12: POE San Diego

01/15/14: sent I-751 application

05/14/14: received card production notification by e-mail, approval date 05/13

Naturalization

02/01/24: N-400 submitted online; Biometrics reuse notice received immediately online; "case being actively reviewed" after a couple hours

02/09/24: received NOA1 by mail

02/10/24: received biometrics reuse notice by mail

04/08/24: interview scheduled for 05/14. Received "We have taken an action in your case" email.

05/14/24: approved at interview, same-day oath ceremony in San Francisco 🥳 🇺🇸

 

Passport

06/10/24: application submitted at post office for passport book and card, paid for expedited processing and shipping

06/24/24: received email notification that passport was approved, then shipped with tracking number

No case numbers will be given today. I called NVC because of something Laure and colin posted.... and it says closed for federal holiday.

Sorry guys....

Same here Sonshyne. We have similar timeline in USCIS. And NVC received our case on Dec. 19th also. Hope they will assign us our case number so we can move forward.

Daily NVC call: daily "not entered in our system yet" answer.

What's funny is they were telling us the case was received on Dec 12, now they tell us to count 20 business days from Dec 16 before we start sending out flares. I'm seriously starting to hate them.

34 days since NOA2 and counting.

CR1 Visa

Same here Sonshyne. We have similar timeline in USCIS. And NVC received our case on Dec. 19th also. Hope they will assign us our case number so we can move forward.

So were your certificates a photocopy that you made and had certified as valid by the justice of the peace (i guess our equivalent of a regiatrar?) or were they duplicate copies the government printed for you?

Both our certified marriage certificate and his certified birth certificate were issued by the authority that issued the originals (City of Leeds and State of Texas) with all the stamps and such that they normally do, but they say they're certified copies.... Anyone had any problems with similar documents?

You should be fine. I think we had issues because the copies weren't done by the 'issuing authority'. Just ring them up if you have any doubts.
