That doesn't mean that there aren't still July petitions to approve, but this means the bulk of their work is the first week of August.

Thanks for the work you do on here, I'll have to take a look at earlier posts in this thread too.

Do you have any comparison to their workflow in September/October/November? Those seem to be REALLY slow months.

Here is a graphical representation of Paisaman's statistics. It shows the percentage of cases that have had a status change broken down by day. so far it looks like spread evenly throughout the month.

Awesome work - Thanks for the graphs!

It seems like they're going through August at a much quicker pace than the July petitions? I mean, seeing as there's an even spread, I'm guessing we'll begin to see early September filers receiving NOA2s in not too long.

Paisaman - thanks for the effort and the information - it is much appreciated.

For everyone else - it seems that the USCIS has "FINALLY" updated their information on what they "were" working on - their website now shows data as of Dec 31 2011 with an update date of Feb 21 2012...

Not so good news for F2A filers like me as the date as CSC didnt change - working on files before June 1 2011 and I-130 Imm relative is no longer 5 months (as it was in the Jan update) but now showing Aug 2 2011

NOA1 August 3 2011
NOA2 April 14 2012
NVC receipt May 17 2012

Case upgrade request sent via email April 3 2013

Case upgraded by NVC from F2A to CR1 April 19 2013

Interview June 6th 2013 - APPROVED - case upgraded to IR1 at time of interview based on time married

Visa in hand June 10th 2013

IV fee paid using ELIS June 17th 2013

POE Houston July 15th 2013

GC arrived in mail Aug 12th 2013

SSN card arrived in mail Aug 19 2013 (1 week after applying)

I don't get USCIS's dates. August 2, 2011 to December 31, 2011 is 5 months, right? What am I missing?

umm, counting using MY highly scientific calculator....my fingers :)

i get that aug 2 2011 to jan 2 2012 would be technically 5 months - therefore.... they are working at a pace better than 5 months - or were as of dec 31 2011 :)

well... you have to remember we are being told of what they were doing on dec 31 2011...

so the info we get is delayed - not the most helpful way of doing things - but thats the way it is.

They probably won't service request it that early.

But, find out how to get in touch with your local senator or representative. Rumor has it if a member of congress makes an inquiry, they have an own unit specifically aimed at giving pleasant answers to congressmen.

Hmm.. Unless they take a month+ to process, this doesn't make sense. Not many August filers were less than a month away from their NOA2s on 12/31.
