All,

Creating this thread and will be updating once or twice a week with the stats for the CSC to try to provide an insight into what is really happening in case processing for I130s.

Over the next few weeks I will try to expand the date ranges to include the whole month of July, but for now focusing on the first couple weeks of July where the bulk of the processing seems to be.

Happy reading. Hope it helps at least provide *some* information, at least it makes me feel a little better. :)

Good luck to all who are waiting. Wishing you all a happy holidays and that you will be with your loved ones soon.

from where u got those informations?

Whoops! Sorry put the details in my first post here:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/343343-really-monitoring-csc-progress/

I feel like I am in a vacuum without any insight into what is happening at the CSC beyond the agent's saying they are processing files from June 16th. ARG. So, to make myself feel a little better while I wait the next 8 weeks. I wrote some programming to data mine the actual numbers. I am:

1> Hitting the USCIS website to retrieve the status of all the WAC cases sequentially.

2> Throwing the results into Excel where I can parse the information easier and generate the report.

3> Pulling out just the I130 records, and then also saving the records that are in the "Initial Review" and rerun them periodically to scan for updates.

Its 100% legal since the data is freely available, but not 100% accurate. But I feel its pretty close.

For my initial pull it was 30,000 records between WAC1190519000 (June 29th) and WAC1190548999 (July 13th). I am trying to expand that to monitor the whole month of July and eventually August as they keep moving forward in their processing.

For anyone interested, the reason its not exact is:

1> Sometimes I have to guess on the submission date by looking at records around a WAC.

2> When I am rescanning I am ignoring the ones that already went to a processed state, or are still in "Acceptance" (ironically named because those didn't pass the first scan and got rejected). We don't care about those we want to see new records processed. :)

3> Sometimes records have NO status and haven't figured out yet what those are, so added an "Other" column for the ones that go blank.

So assume a margin or error because I am only scanning WACs over a range, not the entire June 15-Present, and there are a few guesses involved on submission date.

I will try to expand what I am scanning to go back and forward, but the scans take time :)

Wow... My apologies it was late.

Should read "December 21 Data Stats" as I was pulling yesterday evening, and the bottom line is "Since December 18th" not since July.

I am intending to update once or twice a week so we can see how many apps are processed and how many remain. My apologies on the confusion.

Update time! I re-ran stats last night and today and the results are in.

Analysis:

-----------------

Basically 15,047 applications between June 27th and July 13th. (Posting entire month of July next but wanted to update on my original pulls)

The breakdown is:

Still in Review: 9,879 (65.7%)

Decided: 3,249 (21.6%)

Pending RFE: 662 (4.4%)

Rejected: 1,190 (7.9%)

Between December 22-23 the CSC reviewed 427 more applications with 225 decisions and 196 new Requests for Information.

For the week of December 19th that means 1,067 applications were processed, with 800 decisions and 222 RFEs.

They better pick up the pace.. Interested to see what a normal work week looks like.

I will post a look at the entire month of July next, and my future trackings will include stats for all.

Thanks and happy holidays to you and your loved ones. May you be together soon.

August?? :cry::whistle::protest::crying:

Should be able to post a preliminary set of numbers this week. Have been continuing "mapping" the case numbers, currently up through August 29th, or WAC11906645000. Taking a break however tomorrow to fly down to Colombia and see my love. Will get something out first part of this week though.
