Sending Financial information I-751 Safe?

I am sending copies of our credit cards for the I-751 to show a joint account. Just wondering if I should draw a black line over the card numbers for safety? as well as on our

banking information?

Yes, it is safe to send financial information. They already have your life's story and all sorts of other personal information on you. You can blank out numbers if you wish but you will need to show how the cards are related to the same account by sending in copies of the account statement, so you may wish to send just the account statement rather than copies of the actual cards. You can send copies of cards that obviously tie the two of you together such as a dependent's name on a medical insurance card, or both driver's licenses showing the same address.

I sent copies where one of us had added the other as an additional card holder (but where statements only come in one name): showing one card next to the other each showing identical card numbers. Just the front of the cards. You could probably black out all but the last 4 digits... We didn't though and nor did we at AOS and as of today they have yet to go shopping with our cards! Like Kathryn said they have a lot of your personal information anyway...

Thanks for your responses. I am just on my wifes account, so the statement wouldnt help me, hence why its just a copy of the cards. However, It just dawned on me one more pressing issue which feels like it could end in a cluster£&$*. We just moved house last week and I have still to notify USCIS about my change of address. My I-751 form is complete with our new address ( though my evidence has my old address). Do I need to send an AR-11 ( change of address) before I send in my I-751 or should I send both off tomorrow but have a copy of the AR-11 in to show I am changing my address?

For AOS, I blacked out all but the last 4 digits from the photocopies of our cards, since our statements only come in my name.

We did the same. We have 6 identical credit cards with 2 banks but none of them have my wife listed on the account/statement - they are just cards with her name. Scanned all the cards in color on one page, whited out the first 12 card numbers on each, made another copy for safety and sent that one.

Even though your new address is on the 751 you will still need to send off your AR11 and the petitioner your wife needs to fill in a 865 as well send them off too as they go to different addresses.
