This program works if you want to download all your data to a file and then open it in Word to print it.

Sounds good. I did manually copies all my chats from 2008-2011 into Word. That hurts my fingers to scrolling downwacko.gif. Thank YOU.good.gif

With this program, I exported all my records while I made a sandwhich. How long did your method take you ?

Ha ha ha. Maybe an hour? tongue.gif

an update:

I am about downloading all chats even though I've already kept the copies -just want to try tested the software-. It's running pretty well, easy to download, and very handy!. Here the screenshot of progressing download.

Ummm... You can use window's short cuts of

CNTL + A = highlight EVERYTHING

CNTL + SHIFT = highlights everything between the cursor and mouse

CNTL + C = copy

CNTL + V = Paste what you've copied. (I think of the V as an arrow pointing to that spot.)

That Windows tour on your computer that you ignored when you bought the thing, that is the kind of stuff in there.

I actually just wanted to choose which chats that I would like to send. That's why it hurts my fingers.rofl.gif. But I ended up copies all by using Ctrl A+clicked right mousepad+copy+paste. laughing.gif

1,716 chat sessions ! Do you realize if they were an hour each, that is as much time as you would spend on a full time job in a year almost ? That's a lot of chat.

Ha ha ha. I never knew that but I would tell my fiance about it.biggrin.gif. We also video calling as well. Imagined if chats only. I bet more than that.

can i export call logs too? we don't chat much, we talk thru skypr often

We did chat through video call as well. Unfortunately, last time I checked the result, no chat logs has been imported. But, you can try a few options. Copies all of them by manual way, my Skype keep all my call logs and I just need to scrolling down all of them. -It hurts my fingers though-crying.gif. You can also, print screen your Skype window that showing you are both doing video call not as simple as the other one but at least I have a proof talk to my fiance during the time. I have 50 Skype video call screenshots.blush.gif. Oh, another thing, I keep take snapshots of him everytime he went to another city for work and showing date on them. Maybe not too important but I do that for my pleasure.laughing.gif

Hi,

Here's a site I found when trying to figure out a Mac-friendly way to view our call/chat logs: http://stephanietan.boldersecurity.com/2011/04/analyzing-skype-chat-and-call-logs.html

(We've just submitted the paperwork, but I'm always one for being prepared in advance. :D)

It should work on Windows, too, just as long as you have the Firefox browser. It was easy to do and you can export the data to a .csv (comma delimited) file that can be opened in Excel, Google Spreadsheets, etc. I use Skype for work, so I cleaned up the document to remove work-related calls. Hope this helps!

The more chats, the better it is. IMHO, the more evidence you provide for the K1 interview, the CO will be impressed, and little left to question the validity of the relationship. My fiancee provided over 50 pages bounded in a binder (SKYPE, call logs, Gmail Chat). Provided for a good experience at the embassy.

Hi!

I was just wondering would you happen to know how to download MSN messenger chat histories? I have cut and pasted them but there is nothing really that proves it was an online chat. it has dates times and screen names but doesn't show if it is generated from messenger. need help with this in case the evidence I sent wasn't enough. I sent passport with stamps over 3 visits since January 2010, pics, boarding passes over the last 2 years, phone bills for the last year with calls and text messages. I am hoping this is enough...but for the interview I would like to have msn messages that go over the last 2 1/2 yrs.

Thanks
